  • The registration fee is $225 per team and requires that you are a member of the Houstonians On Tandems Together club. The Team HOTT club's financial model compels us to make this and future club events 'members only'. The cost of membership is $40/year, making the total cost of this event $265 for non-members.

6:30 - 8:30 PM Campfire Social and Registration at  Wolf Creek Park -WCP , 21 Wolf Crk Pk Rd, Coldspring, TX 77331 - Campsite no. 72
Snacks & Smore’s and fellowship. (BYOB) Please bring your favorite lawn chair! If you are a guest at WCP please ride your bike or walk to the campfire social.
*Teams not staying at WCP: when you arrive at the gate your name will be on the “tandem group” guest list. They will provide you with a parking pass for your windshield. Do not park on the grass. We will be available to assist with parking. Please bring your favorite lawn chair!
Registration – packets will be available at WCP.

Friday, March 27th - Gravel and Road Rides

Team Moyer is delighted to once again host an amazing Texas BBQ buffet dinner. Dinner includes beef
brisket, smoked turkey and pork ribs with plenty of side dishes, iced tea, sodas and water. (BYOB). Come dressed in your favorite western wear for photo opportunities. The Moyer’s are preparing an evening of great food and fellowship.

What you need to know:

Your registration fee for the Coldspring Tandem Weekend includes the Thursday evening welcome reception & campfire social, Friday BBQ dinner, breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Saturday and wine sampling & live entertainment Saturday evening, SAG, rest stops, scouted routes, riders’ insurance, facility and equipment rental and other misc. items. You will be on your own for dinner on Thursday and Saturday and lunch on Friday.

  • We will be using a text message service to communicate last-minute details such as weather delays or other weekend updates. We will do our best to communicate with the cell numbers provided when you registered. We will send a “test” text message a few days prior to the event.
  • If you are not camping at Wolf Creek Park and wish to gain access to the park (other than the social on Thursday evening) you will need to purchase a day pass. A day pass is $5 per person per day. You will need to know the campsite number of the team you will be visiting. Park rules enforced.
  • After riding on Friday, you will be able to leave your tandem in the San Jacinto County Shelter. If you choose to leave your bike at the venue, PLEASE bring a stand and be sure to put your name on your stand. We are not permitted to lean the bikes against the wall. 
  • Road ride distances on Saturday will range from 29-69-mile routes. (Ride with GPS route file attached)
  • Routes are posted - Ride with GPS Coldspring Tandem Weekend - CTW 2026
  • If you do not have the Ride with GPS app, please download it onto your device (smart phone or navigation device). If you are not a current member, we suggest you get the Basic plan so that you have the features needed to download the routes and receive audio route instructions. The membership can be cancelled after using it for this event. We suggest that you download the app and routes prior to arriving in Coldspring. Connectivity in rural areas can sometimes be challenging. You can print the ride routes and cue sheets from the route file attached. Routes will not be marked.
  • Please wear your name tag to all events. We want to get to know all the attendees! Your Saturday lunch selection as well as SAG and Support phone numbers are printed on the back of your name tag.
  • There will be photo opportunities along the route as well as restrooms and convenience stores. We recommend you carry snacks and water on your bike. SAG and rest stops will also have water.
  • Single track tandem riding might be new to you, but your hosts are pro’s and would love to share a local trail with you!
  • Please come with your tandem in good mechanical condition. House of Tandems will be available for roadside mechanical assistance (SAG) (see back of name badge for contact info). If you have a medical emergency please call 911.

If you wish to camp at Wolf Creek, please complete the attached RV request form and send it to Houstoniansontandems@gmail.com as soon as possible. If you have questions about camping, please call Allen at 409-898-0696. Refunds for campground fees will be reduced by any charges we are unable to recover from Wolf Creek at the time of your cancellation.
