Thursday, March 20th – ride on your own
6:00 - 7:30 PM – Welcome and registration - Lil’e’s Crawfish Restaurant, 14550 TX-150, Coldspring, TX 77331
Meet up for dinner on your own. Although this is crawfish season, they offer many other items.
7:30 - 8:30 PM Campfire Social at Team Becker’s - Wolf Creek Park – (WCP) campsite no.72

Smore’s and fellowship. (BYOB) Please bring your favoritelawn chair!
The park has a concession stand with a limited menu.
If you are a guest at WCP please ride your bike or walk to the campfire social.
*Teams not staying at WCP: You will receive a park entrance pass for Thursday evening social as well as parking instructions at the welcome . We will partner you up with a team that is staying at WCP for you to park at their site. Please bring your favorite lawn chair!

San Jacinto County Shelter (SJCS)

This is a beautiful new building with plenty of restrooms and parking. We are hopeful you will be able to leave your bike when you are done riding. The building will be secured when we are done riding. If you choose to leave your bike inside of the building, please BRING A BIKE STAND (put your name on it). We are not allowed to lean them against a wall, chair or table.

*A valid drivers license will be required to enter the gated community.
Team Moyer is delighted to once again host CTW riders for “The ALL-Things Texas” dinner buffet to include brisket, chicken and pork ribs with plenty of side dishes, iced tea, sodas and water. (BYOB)
Come dressed in your favorite western wear for photo opportunities. The Moyer’s are preparing an evening of great food and fellowship.

Teysha Vineyard Family-owned and operated, Teysha Vineyard and their team will be serving us at the SJCS for a private tasting, sampling red, white and sparkling wines. Tomfoolery – a local 5-piece band will be proving entertainment for the evening. Light snacks, water and soda will be served.

What you need to know:
Your registration fee for the Coldspring Tandem Weekend includes the Thursday evening campfire social, Friday BBQ dinner, pancake/waffle breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Saturday and wine tasting Saturday evening, SAG, rest stops, scouted routes, riders’ insurance, facility and equipment rental and other misc. items. You will be on your own for dinner on Thursday and Saturday and lunch on Friday.
- Road ride distances on Saturday will range from 29-67 mile routes. (Ride with GPS route file attached)
- Routes are posted at the top of this web page.
- If you do not have the Ride with GPS app, please download it onto your device (smart phone or navigation device). If you are not a current member, we suggest you get the Basic plan so that you have the features needed to download the routes and receive audio route instructions. The membership can be cancelled after using it for this event. We suggest that you download the app and routes prior to arriving in Coldspring. Connectivity in rural areas can sometimes be challenging. You can print the ride routes and cue sheets from the route file attached. Routes will not be marked.
- There will be photo opportunities along the route as well as restrooms and convenience stores. We recommended you carry snacks and water on your bike. SAG and rest stops will also have water.
- Single track tandem riding might be new to you, but your hosts are pro’s and would love to share a local trail with you!
- Please come with your tandem in good mechanical condition. House of Tandems will be available for roadside mechanical assistance (SAG) (see back of name badge for contact info). If you have a medical emergency please call 911.
RV / Camping:
2025 Coldspring Tandem Weekend - we will be camping at Wolf Creek Park
If you need an RV or tent camping spot please contact Allen as soon as possible. They have pre-booked spots. The campground fills up fast and early. If you wish to camp there, please call Allen (409-898-0696) before booking a site online.
