Thursday, March 23rd - on your own, unsupported ride
6:30-9:00 PM - Reception at Laura & Allen Moyer's home – light hors d'oeuvres and finger foods, water and iced tea (BYOB)
Friday, March 24th - Gravel Ride – or road ride on your own
10:00 AM - Meet at the Bullet Grill House parking lot in Point Blank, 401 TX-156, Point Blank, TX 77364. Please try to park on the north side of the parking lot.
10:30 AM - Gravel ride start
3:00 PM Road ride start at the big top tent at the 1st Baptist Church of Coldspring, 100 E. Pine Ave. TX 77331
Lunch and dinner on your own.
7:00 - 8:30 PM Gather around the campfire at Team Becker’s campsite at Double Lake Recreation Center for smore’s and fellowship. (BYOB)
8:30 PM - MTB - Glow Ride on the trails at Double Lake. For experienced trail riders only. Appropriate (high lumen) headlights required.
Saturday, March 25th - Road Ride from the Big Top Tent
7:00 - 8:00 AM - Pancakes at the Big Top Tent across from First Baptist Church of Coldspring, 100 E. Pine Ave. TX 77331
8:00 - 8:30 AM - Safety and Route briefing under the Big Top Tent
8:30 - 8:45 AM - Group Photo near the Big Top
9:00 - Ride start
Post ride lunch - in the Big Top Tent (lunch provided)
Dinner on your own.
7:00 - 9:00 PM - Social gathering and wine tasting at Teysha Vineyard.
Teysha Vineyard is at 577 Dodge-Oakhurst Rd., Huntsville, TX 77320.
Allow 25-30 minutes to drive there.
Sunday, March 26th - Single track tandem riding
Double Lake Recreation Area, FM 2025 S. Coldspring, TX 77331
The Double Lake Recreation Area's fee is being waived for this event, so you can go on in.
Road Ride Start location - Double Lake Recreation Area
7:30 - 8:30AM - Texas waffles at the campground
9:00 AM - Single Track and Road Ride start from DLRA
What you need to know:
The registration fee for the Coldspring Tandem Weekend is $200 per team and requires that you are an active, 'paid up' member of the Houstonians On Tandems Together club. The Team HOTT club's financial model compels us to make this and future club events 'members only'. The cost of membership is $40/year, making the total cost of this event $240 for non-members.
The registration fee includes pancake breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, Saturday lunch, SAG, rest stops, hors d'oeuvres Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, a wine tasting, scouted routes, riders’ insurance, facility and equipment rental and other misc. items. Refunds of uncommitted funds for cancellations will be available prior to March 10th, 2023.
You will be on your own for lunch on Friday and dinners on Thursday, Friday & Saturday
March 25th is Coldspring “Trade Days”!
Ride distances Saturday will range from 12 - 60 mile routes.
Single track tandem riding might be new to you, but your hosts are pro’s and would love to share a local trail with you!

Note: Allen has 22 campsites at Double Lake reserved. If you wish to camp there, please call Allen (409-898-0696) before booking a site online.
*Half of the sites are "first come first serve" so if you arrive early Friday, you can probably still get a site.

Team HOTT, Inc COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
Team HOTT Inc. is committed to providing an event that is safe and fun for all riders. Each rider will be required to follow Team HOTT’s Safety Guidelines. Our guidelines follow CDC as well as LAB recommendations. All participants will be required to sign a waiver and rider agreement at time of registration to the outlined requirements and guidelines.
Guidelines and expectations
- If you have symptoms, tested positive or if you had close contact with someone in last 10 days of this event, we ask that you not attend.
- Proper hand washing or frequent use of hand sanitizer
- No drafting – USA Cycling recommends 20 feet behind the team in front of you.
- There will be restroom options along the road ride route (Convenience stores and fun photo opportunities).
