You are invited to two days of riding - a tandem road ride in Coldspring on Saturday followed by a trail ride at Double Lake on Sunday. Two great days of Tandem riding!

8:00 AM Saturday, March 27th - Road Ride – ride route briefing. Wheels down at 8:30 am for longer route. Shorter routes will start later
Meet at First Baptist Church of Coldspring, 100 E. Pine Ave. TX 77331 (rest rooms available) 
Lunch Saturday - tailgate at your vehicle at the church parking lot or enjoy one of the local restaurants (possible box lunches will be available for purchase)

9:00 AM Sunday, March 28th, - Single track tandem riding

Road ride route -22 mile option from Double Lake

What you need to know:

March 27th is Coldspring “Trade Days”!

  • Ride distances Saturday – 28, 34, and 62 mile routes planned
  • Routes will be posted on the Team HOTT Ride with GPS page
  • Single track tandem riding might be new to you, but your hosts are pro’s and would love to share a local trail with you!
  • See below for accommodation recommendations

We will not host any meals or social functions. You will be on your own for meals. We hope to create a list of available options in the area.

    There is no cost for this event, but donations are requested (pass the hat) to offset the expenses incurred by our hosts.

    There are several hotel chain options in Huntsville and Livingston –

    Team HOTT Inc. is committed to providing an event that is safe and fun for all riders. Each rider will be required to follow Team HOTT’s Safety Guidelines. Our guidelines follow CDC as well as LAB (League of American Bicyclists) recommendations. 

    Guidelines and expectations                                                                             

    • If you have fever, cough, muscle pain, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, or flu-like symptoms, you've tested positive for Covid-19 or been contact with someone who has tested positive within 14 days of this event, we ask that you stay at home.
    • Face masks / covering must cover mouth and nose and be worn when not riding
    • Social distancing - Keep at least 6ft from everyone at all times.
    • Proper hand washing or frequent use of hand sanitizer
    • No drafting – USA Cycling recommends 20 feet behind the team in front of you.
    • There will be restroom options along the road ride route (Convenience stores and fun photo opportunities).
    • For safety and sanitation reasons we will not provide any nutrition or hydration on the routes. We suggest you that you pack on your bike what you might need or purchase beverages and snacks for these small businesses.
    • We will do a staggered start on both days.
